I've seen lowercase wording used by people who don't want to put effort into something. Personally, I consider it a sign of dismissal towards the audience. If you see this coming from someone, it might be an indication they don't case. This is based purely on personal experience.
Maybe that's why it's used ? Twitter is just addressed to the public, so it's not official in any way, it's just communication. The lowercase casual style is only used to drive empathy probably.
Or they are quiet, as they are getting the results that they've wanted and that the time of propping up ridiculous Free Speech Absolutism arguments has passed.
Doxxing is a common attack on people who are guilty of wrongspeak.
I have no strong opinion about how doxxing relates to free speech, but desire to hide your private life is understandable, and I don't see any benefit for the society from realtime doxxing.
Coinbase, which happen to be a Y Combinator unicorn, is saying they're totally fine. Credit where it's due: Coinbase never ever dealt with Tether/USDT. They say the $42 billion of USDC they minted are all backed and that all the clients' assets on their site (USDC/coins/EUR/USD/etc.) are all backed 1:1.
I hope Coinbase is and stays an honest (and regulated) player in that crazy space:
All these “web 2” companies are going to create their own “web 3” services that will only work on their own product, and we have overly complicated solutions to an issue which didn’t really need solving.
Can’t wait for my reddit or meta tokens which have a zero value.
Both seem like they are horribly rushed and no auto complete?
