I believe electricity is the closest thing to magic among the natural forces that we have managed to tame more or less. The entire history of humanity is a story of how we learned more cleverly to exploit the fact that the electron is a negatively charged particle, even the human being itself, and life itself, is a proton gradient across the mitochondrial membrane, where the flow of protons drives the rotation of ATP synthase and produces the energy of life
I used to think teeth were the worst-designed part of the body, until I learned that DNA polymerase can make an error during replication and it goes unnoticed, and then a few months later hundreds of thousands of malignant lymphocytes appear throughout the entire body of somebody you love most, and due to their exponential growth they invade every tissue. Now I look at teeth in a completely different way
Some creationists would say that cancer isn't necessarily proof of poor design but a consequence of inherited sin. If we were still perfect the way Adam was, we would not have cancer.
Note, I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with the position, just presenting it as I understood it.
