Don't get me wrong, Uber isn't fault free here in my opinion, and I'm mostly in aggreement with you. Pretty much everyone involved here was negligent in some way if you ask me.

My point was only that I don't think this would set any kind of precedent since it's so far from a simple case of "an owner of a self driving car".
