The first iPhone didn't have copy & paste. That wasn't a mistake. iOS has by design been a dumbphone OS favouring vendor lock-in, with some progressive enhancements over the past 15 years.
It only took them a decade to release have a local file manager app! And unlike say, Reddit, they didn't allow any 3rd parties to build one for them, because apparently only Apple could get this groundbreaking technology right! /s
